

Lawrence's first novel, THIRTY BYTES OF SOLITUDE (Piatkus Books, UK) was published to excellent reviews and a film adaptation is currently underway.
Lawrence is also the author of a non-fiction book about soccer from Simon & Schuster, New York, and is a contributing author of four titles in the Armchair Reader series of books from Publications International, Ltd., Illinois. His first produced feature, PSYCH:9 (Universal Pictures, UK), opens in UK cinemas on April 9, 2010. The film stars Cary Elwes, Sara Foster and Michael Biehn. Lawrence Robinson's writing has also appeared in publications such as Arena, Dazed & Confused, The Face, Loaded, Icon, .net and LA Weekly. His short stories have been published in anthologies in both the US and UK and Lawrence received the top screenwriting award at the Daily Variety Pitch Me! Conference at the Cannes Film Festival, 2002.
He has recently completed a new novel.
As a screenwriter, Lawrence has sold numerous projects to both studio and independent production companies including a comedy to New Line Cinema with Meg Ryan attached to star; a thriller to the producers of Cabin Fever; an action-adventure script, Pitfall Harry, based on the popular Activision video game and a comedy-drama to DreamWorks.

He currently divides his time between Los Angeles and London.
